The Plume v. 1.0 Description
The Plume is a game that allows the player to explore the Minecraft world in any way he/she wants. The game is supposed to be hard and supposed to help the player get through if stuck. You can solve problems in any way you want because there are purposely placed solutions to puzzles. There are many levels to go to and there is a purpose for doing all of this. Steve has lost everything to the ender dragon and wither. he needs to find weaponry and gear to stop them in the Nether and End.
The game feels like exactly what I wanted to create, so hopefully people like it! I also can't wait to compare it to other games that people have made. This is a game that I would also like to make a sequel to, if I had the chance to.
The game making process was mostly good, I worked productively in the group, but some people didn't even try to help. I'll give some names here on who fooled around. AnthonyS and KyleB. KyleB tried to help, but he didn't really lead. Also AnthonyS sometimes could not even find us in the game world. Otherwise it was a good expierence.

First week of April, progress
On the first week of April I started to make the tutorial level of my game, in Mine craft! I used the help of 3 other team mates, but some of them just kept fooling around, and some did not even work! But we were able to create a gigantic wall that encompassed the tutorial level, also showing who created it! Finally after I finished the tutorial level I went off to find a place to start with level 1. (Or second level if tutorial level is first in your eyes) It took me a while, but I found an area that had lots of grass, and had a flat area! So I lead a glow stone trail back to the tutorial level so I could find it again! Then I told my group mates to start with the dungeon I was making! This dungeon was a gigantic tower that would have floors of parkor, enemies, mazes, and at the end, a boss! We were able to finish half of the exterior and that is it for the first week at school!
I plan to create the interior of the tower with bosses, mazes and puzzles! Afterwards, create a pathway to level one through npcs guiding the character! Because this is an open world game, it will be hard to pull off!
One aha moment was when I was placing blocks in a gigantic column, I was jumping and placing a block, but then I realized I could just fly and place blocks!

Minecraft Legend: The Plume
HOW I DID IT!
The design document was made between the four brains of my group. When I got the document, it told me to write the out storyline, characters, levels, objects, and winning/losing scenario! First, all of my group members made up stories for the game, and the best one would be worked on. Then we decided what gameplay style it would be! Then, we added the main character's backstory, and decided why he is the hero and who the villain is. We also started testing things we could do in Minecraft to see if it would work in the story! Lastly, we all (2 of us contributed) finished the document and checked for mistakes.
DESIGN DOCUMENT
Game Title: The Plume Genre: Action/Adventure/Open World
Storyline –
Steve, the main character is sleeping the whole time, while the world is getting destroyed! His parents are trying to take cover, but get shot by the Wither. The whole reason why the ender dragon is attacking is not for any reason, they just like killing people!
When Steve wakes up, he finds that his room is destroyed and the only thing that remains is his bed, and his map! He has to face many challenges as he attempts to save the world and kill the enderdragon. He travel through levels finding items to help him face his biggest threat yet, the enderdragon. Before he can kill the monster he needs to take out the wither. To get the nether star. He travels through all the landmarks in his world. He starts off in the Grand Plateau, and goes to the Tundra, Nether, Dessert, and finally the End! In these landmarks he finds materials and items that he can use to defeat the enderdragon and the Wither.
Steve is pretty courageous for trying to save the world, and there are still some people (npcs) that are in the world that Steve can meet. These people can help him complete main quests, side quests, and maybe he can even steal from them, but that does not make him a hero! While Steve fools around the Ender Dragon summons his army of mutants!
The enderdragon can make enemies himself! He summons spiders, zombies, schulkers, skeletons, and other enemies! If Steve can defeat all the enemies, then he can save the world! The problem is that the enderdragon has been getting stronger over the years and more and more people fall because of him, and pretty soon, everybody will make the enderdragon the king of not just the End, everyworld!
An ancient race called the Beel created dungeons in the game to test the strength of a hero that would come and save people if the ender dragon would try to take over the worlds! These dungeons give the hero special gear and items that will help him/her destroy the ender dragon! So now, the hero has been born and is set to take on the dungeons in each of the worlds and landmarks. He will have to go to the hot desert, the cold Tundra, the evil Nether and get ready to fight the ender dragon!
Steve has a real purpose to destroy the ender dragon, not only because of the supposed death of his family, also because he believes that a world where you have to get ruled by a horrible person is not a world that he wants to live in. Steve is not scared at all, he just wants to end his grudge and live a happy life!

Sonic Colors for Nintendo Wii Game REVIEW
Sonic Colors for Nintendo Wii Game REVIEW
GAMEPLAY
Sonic Colors is a 3D sonic game, today I am reviewing the wii version. The gameplay in sonic colors is basic, but fun! The controls for this game are diverse. You can use a wii remote, and a classic controller. This game is for the wii, so you can't use the wii u gamepad. In the game, you can move in 8 directions, double jump, home attack, slide, boost to destroy enemies and go faster, and use the wisps. The wisps give sonic different powers. For example, the laser wisp makes sonic run at the speed at light, and the rocket wisp makes sonic into a literal rocket!
FOR COMPLETIONISTS
This game is really linear, and has a simple world map selection screen that allows you to pick a level in 6 different worlds. The worlds can include a factory, roller coaster, theme park, etc. in these worlds there are about 8 levels that can be completed for S ranks which is the highest rank you can get. (D is the worst, S is the best) The cool thing is, when you complete a level early on, you could have missed areas because you didn't have a wisp available to you. So you can come back to those old levels and see what you missed. The main collectible in this game are the red rings. You find them hidden in the stages and when you have enough, you can unlock special stages. For multiplayer.
MULTIPLAYER
You can join with one friend, or by yourself, to complete 28 stages of trying to find the chaos emeralds. These stages are particularly easy, but rewarding. When you get all 7 chaos emeralds, you can unlock super sonic, which is as cool as it sounds!
ART STYLE
Keep in mind that this game was on the wii, so it is not hd, but it is 480p. This is also the best looking sonic game on the wii, beating sonic unleashed, sonic and the secret rings, and sonic and the black knight. This game has the same art style as any other sonic 3D game, and looks really good!
MUSIC AND SOUND EFFECTS
The music in this game is AMAZING, so many different types of sonic music, I would say it is my second favorite sound track for any sonic game! Here is a video with some of the best music!
THX aaronphantom!
DESIGN
The levels in this game are well designed! Although most of the stages are 2D, I would say I like the 2D stages as much as the 3D ones. Also this game is so colorful, with the different stages, and suits the situation in where sonic is!
FINAL GRADE
I would not say this is my favorite sonic game, but it is way up there, and the overall gameplay is enjoyable playing again and again. The final score is a...
9/10!!!

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Game REVIEW
THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: BREATH OF THE WILD
GAMEPLAY
Breath of the Wild is finally here! It was supposed to come back in 2015, but the wait was worth it! This Zelda game has the most complex combat, and puzzle solving than in any other Zelda game. For example, you can pick up weapons like a sword, axe, stick, leaf, battle-axe, shield, wooden weapons and shields, tunics, hats, blah, blah, blah, etc. There is so many items and clothing to where that people have not even found all of them yet!
The weapons can also break, this is a feature that forces you to strategize, what to use at what time, and you will have to pick up new items all the time. However, there is one weapon that is indestructible, but I won't spoil it. Ill give you a hint, it starts with Master.
You also have your sheikh slate, which is totally not a Wii U game pad for link or a switch! This tablet can do a lot of things, it has a map of the world, that you will have to fill to yourself, and has runes, which give you different powers like, magnesis, stopping time, bombs, and more!
MINI SECTION: CONTROLS
Here ill just give you a picture, it is too complicated.
The last things to talk about the gameplay is it is rewarding, because this game is really difficult and the enemy AIs are smart. When you kill more harder enemies, you get better items, gear etc.
COMPLETIONIST QUESTION
YES, this game is jam packed with content for you to replay the game for. You can find these shrines that act like mini-dungeons in the game, they are 5-20 minutes each, and there are 120 of them! The reward you get is upgrading your health or stamina! There is also the Korok seeds. Wind Waker fans may recognize these beings, and know who they are. When you complete a puzzle or find a korok, it will give you a kook seed. These seeds can be used to upgrade inventory space and there are 400 of them! Another thing is the Hyrule compendium, which also from wind waker, is taking pictures of items, enemies, npcs, to complete a picture collection. There are other completionist items, but that is spoiler territory so you will have to find it yourself! BY the way, it is impossible to complete the game in 7days 100%.
(THE WHOLE MAP, its HUGE!!!)
THE ART STYLE
The art style for this game is amazing! It is really similar to an old movie called Princess Mononoke! It is like a mix of skyward sword and wind waker, making a beautiful cell-shaded game! The art-style doesn't make the game look like it will look bad in years to come, because of the art style unlike realistic looking games.
MUSIC AND SOUND AFFECTS
The music in this game is honestly my favorite music in all Zelda games, its like they combined the music of all Zelda games and put them into one!
Here's some of my favorites: HYRULE CASTLE, TEMPLE OF TIME, STONE TALUS, LYNEL BATTLE, HINOX BATTLE, GUARDIAN BATTLE, MASTER SWORD MUSIC, KAKARIKO VILLAGE, and More!
Here's a link to Dystify, he put all the music on his channel and it is great, props to him!
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCpkBAobv7YgNQ7pPFYp_Ycw
DESIGN
The design of the game is what you would call open air, it is open world, but not empty, it has lots of things to do! This game is designed so well, it should get some kind of reward.
FINAL GRADE
This game is probably, no it is my favorite game of all time, beating super Mario galaxy 2 and majors's mask! I would rate this a 12/10, I have no complaints on this game!
THE FINAL GRADE IS 10/10
AND the game of the year, I'm calling it!

Empowering Learners Nintendo Switch
NINTENDO SWITCH
The Nintendo Switch is the newest console that has come out. It came out on March 3rd 2017 and is doing well compared to the Wii U and original Wii, or any other Nintendo Console. The may not have that many launch games, but it is about quality, not quantity, and it has breath of the wild, which is basically the only game you need. This console really appeals to me because I really like Nintendo and I've wanted to play Nintendo games that are home console level on the go!
The main thing that this does other consoles like the ps4 and Xbox 1 do not do is being completely portable. This is really nice, because I would like to play outside, in the bathroom, and anywhere else, while playing a ps4 like game.
I would also really like to make games on the switch, so I can play at home or on the go. I could create games that you can create in game maker, or games I can create are like shovel knight, a really good game.
I could learn this at home, because it will be easy bringing it to school and back home, and this is a great idea, because you can only teach so many things in a classroom. But, it would not be like homework, it would be for fun!

Galaga Game REVIEW
There is no written story for this game, but you can piece together that your piloting a ship that is going to fight aliens to protect your planet, or you are taking over their planet, etc.
GAMEPLAY/MECHANICS/WINNING?LOSING
The gameplay for this game is pretty simple. All you can do is move left or right and shoot lasers. This is basic, but it is fun to shoot at the enemies. When you shoot the enemy, it gets destroyed and that is how you win. You have 3 lives, and that is enough to play (dieing twice). The game doesn't really give you a reason to replay the game, but it is addicting to replay the game. Also there is no end to the game, you just play until you die.
The scoring is also simple, the more you kill, the more of a high score you get. The only reason to get a high score is to do better than everyone else who played the game.
GRAPHICS
The graphics are the most basic that they could be, but this is an arcade game, so it makes sense. This game is in 8-bit graphics.
SOUND
The sound for the game is not that compelling. There is no music, there is only sound affects for when you die, shoot, and hit an enemy.
FINAL GRADE
The grade I would give this is a 7 out of 10. This game is addicting, but to me it is not worth playing anymore.
